MACC offers training for users of its products and training on scientific and technical topic related to its work. Short targetted scientific/technical training sessions form part of the programmes of the general assemblies of the project, and may be organised in association with other suitable meetings according to demand. Introductory information is included within the Training Course in Numerical Weather Prediction provided by ECMWF and the topic will be covered in greater depth and included in other established meteorological training courses as products become more intensively and more widely used by meteorological institutions. Short user training sessions will be offered appended to meetings of key user groups, such as those held by the EIONET.

Other options are the holding of dedicated stand-alone training courses and the development of on-line training material. They will be undertaken according to demand and to the extent that resources permit. Feedback from potential recipients regarding their requirements is invited.
