A set of improved "delayed mode" global analyses is being produced about five to six months behind real time for the greebhouse gases and aerosols. The delayed mode system uses data that are unavailable in near-real-time, such as (in due course) GOSAT greenhouse-gas retrievals and possibly tower and other regularly reported in-situ greenhouse-gas data. Additional aerosol data that are unavailable in near-real-time may also be used. The system is run at a higher (T511, ~39-km grid) resolution than that used for the near-real-time production stream.

The system will be updated periodically, following the procedure for near-real-time production.
