The document available here is an amalgamation of the Service Portfolio Specifications for the following PROMOTE services:

• Ozone Profile;
• Total Ozone;
• Satellite-based PM;
• Integrated Air Quality assessment and forecasting.

It should be noted that not all of what is described in these specifications is carried over into MACC. MACC includes:

• the BASCOE and SACADA ozone profile services provided respectively by BIRA-IASB and DLR/FRIUUK;
• the total ozone record, monitoring and forecasting services provided by KNMI;
• the SYNAER aerosol service provided by DLR.

In addition, MACC provides regional air-quality services derived from those of GEMS and PROMOTE, thus drawing on elements of the PROMOTE Integrated Air Quality assessment and forecasting service.
